3rd place in the architectural competition for the Design & Build of a children's treatment facility with speleotherapy in Ostrov u Macochy.
Design of an area for children's treatment using speleotherapy taking place in the nearby cave called Císařská jeskyně. Emphasis on a healthy indoor climate and low operating costs. The complex includes extensive landscaping, sports grounds, a swimming pool with seawater, medical facilities, social outdoor and indoor spaces, and a sleeping area. The material design mirrors the surrounding landscape and becomes an integral part of it.
Hamburg Business Centre is the most modern office building in Pilsen designed in A class. It is located directly opposite the Pilsen brewery, just a few minutes’ walk from the historic city centre. The building includes more than 7,500 sqm of office and retail space and almost 90 parking spaces.
Our company has prepared for the general contractor of the construction (METROSTAV Company) Documentation for the construction execution, Documentation for the change of the construction before completion, fit outs, and Building Energy Performance Certificate.
New construction of a wood processing plant to produce joinery and construction timber and timber production with a capacity of processing 1,000,000m3 of timber/year. The facility, which is expected to be one of the most modern in the country, includes an administration building, a maintenance and operation hall, sorting and debarking lines, a sawmill hall, sawmill drying boxes and log, sawn timber and wood material warehouses, and a fuel filling station.

Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev in Liberec belongs to the Clarion hotel network of CPI Hotels. In the past, K4 managed the construction of the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague and the preparatory phase of the Clarion Congress Hotel Olomouc, and also participated in the design of the Olomouc hotel.
The reconstruction of the interior of the Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev in Liberec was carried out in the hotel rooms located on two floors and consisted mainly of structural modifications of sanitary facilities, new wiring and low-current wiring, installation and commissioning of new air conditioning units and stabilization of wooden floors with replacement of flooring in these areas. In addition, the technology of the original passenger lift was completely replaced with a new one, with a change in the location of the lift doors and the construction of a new lift shaft, including the installation of a new passenger lift.
K4 a.s. provided the client with the services of a project manager and technical supervision of the investor during the reconstruction of the hotel.

Managing the implementation of construction and assembly works for the reconstruction of the operating theatres on the premises of the University Hospital Brno in Bohunice.
Work on the renovation of the entire operating theatre complex was carried out in such a way as to minimise the impact on the functioning of this important part of the University Hospital's operations. K4 a.s. performed the following services on the above-mentioned construction:
- technical supervision of the investor of the construction and technological part during the implementation of the construction,
- OHS coordinator - supervision of compliance with the principles of occupational safety, occupational health and environmental protection,
- coordination of activities during the approval process.
Proposal of the hospital’s site modernization with a medium-term plan (about 10 years) and a long-term plan (up to 20 years). The main objective was to prepare an optimal solution of relocating most of the medical clinics and departments, including the administrative facilities from the Borska premises to the Lochotín premises. The concept of construction modifications is designed in several stages – the first stage includes the construction of a new pavilion of surgical specialities, including its interconnection with other existing buildings using an underground and overground corridor. Mechanica is a part of the Waltrovka project, which is located closest to the Jinonice B metro station, with a pedestrian footbridge connecting it to the station's vestibule. New shops, restaurants and other services have been created in the adjacent central square to bring this part of Waltrovka to life.Mechanica presents a total of 35,000 sqm of office and retail space, offering users a clean and efficient office design with a wide range of shops and services on the ground floor of all three buildings.The contract was managed by Construction management.
