Decathlon is the largest retailer and manufacturer of sports equipment, offering equipment for more than 50 sports. The great interest of buyers led to the realization of another sales area in Brno. The building modifications (fitout) for the needs of the new Decathlon store in Brno-Ivanovice took place in the premises of a part of the former Baumarkt hobby market in the Globus shopping centre.
During the construction of the Decathlon in Ivanovice, our company performed technical supervision of the investor.
The new apartment building designed by K4 is located in Brno on Kocánka Street, in the city district of Královo pole, cadastral area Sadová.
It is a new residential building with 5 above-ground and 1 underground floor. There are 30 residential units on the above-ground floors, parking space and technical background of the building on the underground floor. The residential building is located in a quiet location with a view of Brno.
The company K4 prepared the architectural study, documentation for the zoning procedure, documentation for the building permit, tender documentation and performed author's supervision on the construction.
Extension of two production halls of Parker Hannifin factory in Sadské. The project also included the relocation and construction of new underground utilities, the relocation of a liquid nitrogen storage tank, road modification and minor landscaping. The production halls are designed as a reinforced concrete prefabricated skeleton, sheathed with ‘sandwich’ panels with a roof of classic concept.

The company K4 a.s. developed the project documentation for the production halls, the project manager of the contract was Ing. Roman Havlišta.

The idea of the Brno Technology Park was created in the early 1990s. The urban concept of the British architect Peter Foggo gradually led to the implementation of a bold plan, which had to be modified over time for various reasons, but the basic urban idea – to integrate industrial, technological and administrative functions naturally into the urban structure – has been fulfilled. The administrative complex Czech Technology Park Brno is a campus-type business park, which includes retail, restaurant and other services situated in a pleasant green park.
Our company started cooperation with the Technology Park in 2005. Gradually, until 2017, we conducted design work, engineering and construction management on several stages of the construction of this park. We participated in the construction of office buildings and high-tech production halls for variety of renowned companies such as FEI Czech Republic, Siemens, SGI, Timken, Český Mobil, Honeywell Controls, Symbol Technologies, Red Hat, and IBM.

The Rosum Office Building in Bratislava, Ružinov district is one of the most modern office buildings in Slovakia. The leasable area of 22,000 m2 of office and retail space is built to the highest possible standard. The building consists of two towers connected by a common reception. Both towers also share a common car park, which is located on 2 underground and 3 above-ground floors. In addition to the office space, Rosum also has a retail area for shops and services. AB Rosum is located at the intersection of Bratislava's Ružinovská and Bajkalská streets, which gives it excellent traffic connections. The adjacent city parks and water areas are also an undeniable advantage, adding natural elements to the location. In terms of sustainability, the building is certified according to the internationally recognized LEED system at the GOLD Level. The contract was managed by K4 a.s. managers using the Construction management system. Other services provided by K4 a.s. to the client were Investor Technical Supervision, HSE Coordination, Document control, and Cost control.
Professional consulting and construction management services during the implementation of construction modifications of the Scuderia Čistovická Car Showroom in Prague, which consisted the original shop’s demolition, relocation of utility networks and subsequent construction of a new shop. The contract was managed by the Construction management system.
Scuderia Prague a.s. is the only official sales and service representative of the Ferrari, Maserati and Abarth brands for the Czech Republic.
The television studio in Běhounská Street, where Czech Television had operated for 55 years, was gradually losing its ability to meet the needs of television production and broadcasting in the 21st century. Therefore, our company prepared an adaptation of the former office building and its extension in the Líšeň district to a new modern Brno studio. Construction of the building complex began in November 2014 and was completed in the summer of 2016, when the staff and television equipment was moved in. The building consists of administrative space including the necessary facilities and three separate studios. During the preparation and implementation of the construction of the new studio, K4 a.s. performed project management, technical supervision and price consultation.
