Construction of a shopping and entertainment centre with a leasable area of 57,000 m2, which is part of the first stage of the Nová Karolina Ostrava project.
The building of the centre consists of fourteen interconnected cubes embedded in a large one-hectare glass roof that covers the inner atrium.
The architectural landmark of the building is the so-called dome, a 23-metre-high monolith that rises to a height of 45 metres and, thanks to its imposing dimensions, gives the interior a new dimension of space and at the same time an impression of magnificent pomp and airy ease.
The shopping and entertainment centre is connected to the train and bus station by a modern footbridge at the third-floor level.
Elaboration of the construction documentation, author's supervision and documentation of the actual execution for the general contractor. The contract was managed by K4 a.s. managers using the Project Management system.
